- Can I make an online booking with my IATA/TIDS or RT code?

Yes, your code gives you access to the best available rates; you can see whether the rate gives rise to commissions or not.

- Where and how can I get a code?

You can get your IATA/TIDS codes by contacting IATA (International Air Transport Association).
RT codes are internal codes for Accor hotels. You can get them by sending a request including your details by email to the address in the Contact us section. Click here

- Can I be certain that I am booking the current best promotional rate for my customer?

Yes, Accorhotels.com guarantees you the best current rates.
If you make an online booking for an Accor hotel room on one of the group's websites and you find an equivalent offer on another site (within 24 hours) relating to the same hotel, at a lower price under the same sales conditions, we will give you the preferred rate with an additional discount of 10%.

- How many rooms can I book?

You can book up to 3 rooms, in the same hotel and for the same dates. In the case of a Special Travel Agent Rates reservation, you can book up to 2 rooms.

- How can I alter my booking?

You must cancel and rebook a room. Before making any cancellation, check that rooms are still available.

- Is a credit card required when making online bookings?

Depending on the sales conditions for the rate, a credit card may or may not be required when the booking is made.

- Can I make a pre-payment when booking online?

If you reserve a rate not subject to restrictive sales conditions, you will not be able to make a pre-payment. If you wish to make a pre-payment, you will need to send the hotel your credit card details by fax or contact the hotel directly.

- Can I guarantee the booking using the agency credit card?

You can guarantee the booking with the agency or customer credit card.

- Will I receive a confirmation?

Yes, you can request a confirmation to be addressed to you solely or to you and the customer.

- Do online bookings earn commission?

Rates giving rise to commission are clearly indicated in the booking process. The commission total corresponding to the booking will be paid automatically.

- How is commission paid?

By cheque, in local currency after the departure of the guests.

- I haven't received my commission, what should I do?

Commission is paid within 4 weeks of the client's departure.
If your commission remains unpaid over a longer period, please send us details of the booking by filling in the form.

- What is the level of commission?

The level of commission depends on the brand. You will find all the information on this subject on the Our rates and your commission pages.

- The address corresponding to my IATA code displayed on the confirmation page is not correct.

The International Air Transport Association (IATA) sends us an update of changes every month. If there is an error in your details please contact IATA to make the necessary changes.

- Can the Special Travel Agent Rate (STAR) be reserved online?

Yes, the STAR rates can be reserved online (for your vacations only).

- How do I receive my Special Travel Agent Rate (STAR) access codes?

Fill in the form in the Special Travel Agent Rate section. Your access codes will be sent to you automatically by email on the day of the request.

- How long after registration will I receive my STAR access codes?

The access codes will be automatically sent by email on the day of the request.

- Can I reserve Special Travel Agent Rates (STAR) as soon as I receive the codes?

Yes. To do this, select the STAR reservation tab. Fill in the reservation form indicating:

  • your IATA/TIDS or RT code
  • your STAR code
  • your STAR contract number
  • your arrival and departure dates
  • your destination

- Does the Special Travel Agent Rate (STAR) earn commission?

No, this rate does not pay commission.

- How do I reserve my Special Travel Agent Rate (STAR)?

Click on the STAR reservations tab in the reservation search engine. Fill in your STAR codes and STAR contract no. Select your destination and your dates. The available STAR rates are clearly displayed when you click on "Rates and Reservation" for the hotel selected.

- What documents do I need to show when checking-in at the hotel when I book using STAR rates?

These rates are only valid for your personal stays. On your arrival, you must present some documentation (RT Code/ IATA / TIDS card, or documentation on company-headed notepaper) or a pay-slip showing that you are a travel agent for the holders of an RT/ IATA / TIDS Card code.

- How many rooms can I book using STAR rates?

Reservations are limited to 2 rooms per person making a booking (for immediate family only).

- What is the discount level for STAR rates?

The discount can be as much as 30% off the lowest public rate.
