I normally stay at Grand Mercure during my business trips to Bangalore the main reason being the ambience in the room and the firendly service provided by the staff. The Single Bedroom room and facilities are excellent for a business traveller staying for a week. The two occassions I brought my family we enjoyed the stay in the two bedroom unit as it met all our expectations. The quiet rsidential neighbourhood in Kormangala gave an added incetive to stay in Grand Mercure. Will surely keep coming back to this hotel.

Traveling overseas can be a stressful experience - especially when the country is one as "foreign" (in some respects) as India. However, the Grand Mercure Bangalore was an oasis for this American. The room - in my case, a One-bedroom King Apartment - was spacious, clean, and well-appointed and the staff (whether front desk, restaurant, bellmen, or housekeeping) were gracious and accommodating. The restaurant was quite adequate - and their takes on many Western dishes were actually quite good.I stayed for 3 nights, traveled to another city, then returned for my final night. My experience in that other city's hotel was awful - even to the point of unsanitary. But, when I returned to the Grand Mercure for my final night, it was as though I was returning home. (A quick shower washed off the bad memories of that other hotel!)While the location may not be ideal for some travelers - depending on where their meetings are held - it's certainly worth the extra cost of renting a driver from the hotel to stay at a safe, clean, quality hotel like the Grand Mercure Bangalore.

I stayed at the Grand Mercure Hotel hotel in the Koranmangala area of Bangalore for 5 days during a recent business visit. This hotel is comfortable, room was spacious, the food and presentation was good. The service was consistent and dependable. Little amentities, such as a free glass of wine and a short massage in the spa were nice unexpected touches. I will be staying at the Grand Mercure next time I visit Bangalore.

Very good hotel. Excellent service. Good restaurant. Located in residential area and hence, very quiet. if you have plans to make frequent visits to city centre shopping, it may not be ideal. Facilities are very good. WIFI could be complementary.

Hotel is located in an upscale residential neighborhood, so very quiet.. No road noise. Great for travelers who need a queit place to sleep. Very clean room, with eveything a traveler needs. Has a safe. Good high-speed internet. Great room service. Well-stocked mini-bar. Breakfast buffet was substantial and tasty. Great secrurity with all belongings and guests scanned at entry. Small complaint in Room 318: the wall-mounted tray for the soap and the shampoo in the shower was loose and at a slant. After two reminders, it was tightened, but still at a slant. You could not take a shower without the soap sliding onto the floor. Quite an annoyance. Will I stay there again? You bet. That is my new home in Bangalore!

We had a happy stay at this hotel. Rooms are very well designed. Very Well equipped. Clean. Best part was breakfast. The spread was so brilliant that it can make a guest from any part of the country happy. All the items were authentic. One day I was pleasantly surprised to see MISAL PAO and that too very authentic. THE ONLY UNPLEASANT THING WAS - INTERNET NOT FREE - IT WAS CHARGEABLE AND THAT TOO STEEP.

Cannot say enough good things about the staff. So much attention to detail. Staff always smiling and happy to help. Special mention to Girish who went out of his way to contact Accor when I told him I lost my Accor card. Just wish the location and views were better.

If all you want is a reclusive hotel to recline into peace and rejuvination this hotel is for you. We did just that, not much plans but just to visit the spa, have nice food, and relax by the pool. This hotel is very very peaceful as the crowd is really thin.

The location was a little away from the city but othrwise the hotel was vey comfortable to stay & the service was excellent.The rooms were excellent & the pool was also very nice.Definitely recommending the hotel when u go tp Bangalore for some quiet lesiure

the rooms were pretty ok. they messed up on the service part a couple of times and refused to accept it!location was good.not too far away from electronic city and mg road area which made it pretty accessible.

Situated in a residential area, you can get out of the hotel for a walk around, including in the park next door. Staff very friendly, breakfast could have been slightly better, but this is being 'picky'. Good rooms, great for a long stay. Airport pick-up well organised. For business, I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay.

Excellent place to relax and rejuvenate, has an amazing restaurant specializing in both indian and continental food. Location is a little discreet, could have been better if the hotel authorities put on side boards with arrows/directions at the side of the main street.
